Free Mental Health Care

Health Minister Víctor Atallah announced on Monday that the new toll-free mental health hotline number will be 8-1-1, which will go into operation in the coming days. In the meantime, the current number, 809-200-1400, will continue to operate as usual.

The new number reduces the dialing process from ten digits to just three, which will make it easier for the public to access the service.
